Influenced by the sounds of great artists like B.B. King and Ray Charles, Tony developed his own soulful sound and unique passionate style. He became the lead singer of the blues band, Raven. Performing live, Tony and Raven toured extensively gaining worldwide attention opening for numerous well known acts such as Led Zeppelin, The Byrds, Three Dog Night, B.B. King, Eric Clapton and Buddy Guy. It was not uncommon to find Tony jamming into the wee hours of the night with Jimi Hendrix or Janis Joplin at local nightclubs in New York City.
