“The Rock & Soul Orchestra”
The “RSO” for short is a fantastic twenty-nine piece dance orchestra now available for special events in Los Angeles, Northern California and all over the world! Created by de Bois Entertainments’ owner Randy Stern, the RSO, is the most versatile dance orchestra around. It’s capable of playing all styles from Big Band and Jazz to Disco,Top-40 and everything between.
The group is made up of L.A.’s finest musicians and world class singers. Many of the members have worked on the top T.V shows such as Dancing With The Stars, American Idol, The Voice, The Masked Singer and more. The RSO is made up of twelve strings, seven horns, six in the rhythm section, plus four lead vocalists. That is the basic line up. The ensemble can be augmented by adding more woodwinds, strings, horns, percussion, or vocalists. The musical arrangements performed by the RSO are second to none, scribed by noted arrangers such as Jon Kubis, Tom Kubis, Milton Nelson, Mike Cordone, as well as many others. It’s breathtaking to see, hear, and dance to a band of that size up close.
